Hi Sue
Great to hear from you. I did a response to your response because I enjoyed ‘talking’ with you and hearing about your fun with Seesmic. I have to confess the whole makeup and background thing is pertinent. I did a post the other morning before I’d even got dressed. Big mistake. I looked like a sick lab rat.
Re where the ‘comment’ on video appears, not quite sure what you mean. If it’s Seesmic, it always appears under the comment pane. If ‘comments’ then it appears at the top of the post and the bottom … my theme design I guess.
Anyhow. This is all great fun. And the video technology is going to get much, much better. Of that I’m sure.
HI, you two movie stars,
I will try to add a video comment later (running low on time — another negative about video, I suppose) but I just wanted to say that Kate does have a point about “seeing a face” and not just reading the words.
Perhaps, the advantage is to the reader/viewer and not to the writer/videographer, who must balance light elements, camera angles, rehearse what they will say so they don’t make a fool of themselves, etc.
But that never stopped me before (making a fool of myself), so I will surely try to do a video tonight or tomorrow as an addition to this comment.
Kevin

Hi Christine! No word back yet from the Seesmic team re why this has happened. I’ll keep working on it.
Great anyway to hear your warm, energised voice; I can almost ‘see’ the wet hair!
Can you link me through to Greg’s blog so I can see you?
PS I’ve been doing some plug-in tweaking but I don’t think that’s the reason the video isn’t showing. Hmmm a mystery! Anyone else out there have an idea?
Kevin Hi Kevin. Couple of days later on this … yes my show went well thanks! We’re slowly flushing out the Seesmic bugs. As always the early uptakers stub their toes and remove the rocks for those to follow. Wooah … too early for metaphors. Hope things are good up there on the e coast.
Hi Kate,
Here is my video comment from Gregs blog http://seesmic.com/v/VWumdL7TiD
Something I notice that is different on your blog, I don’t have to click the cocomment button. The bar is already at the bottom of your comment box. I think yours is the only one that does it, so I wonder if it interferes with my being able to record video. It happened on both platforms, and I don’t think I even have cocomment installed on the Mac I used. I’ll try another Mac also to make sure its nothing on my end.
@Christine I’m going to deactivate the CoComment enhancer plugin from WP and see what that does. You could be right about this being the issue.
I’ve also responded to the thread on Greg’s blog. Nice to see you!
